Entry 17 - The Asylum Within Trapped in an asylum within,
hearing screams of agony,
hearing cries of pain.
Foot steps can be heard at times,
occasional and far.
Standing in the dark cell,
looking out at the corridor,
darkness.
Standing in the dark cell,
looking out of the window,
darkness.
But wait.
A faint light afar spotted within darkness,
shining through the window.
Yes it's light indeed, but a faint one.
Hearing screams of agony,
hearing cries of pain.
But there's no one else around.
It is all in the mind within.
All in the asylum within.
